Paralock Plotter
The Paralock Plotter is a fully functional parallel rule specially made for smaller map tables.

Parallel rulers for navigators

These parallel rulers are custom made for the navigator. As these tools have full 180° protractor markings they can be used as a protractor plotter and parallel ruler. Made in strong, clear acrylic they come in the following sizes and types:

24" (600 mm) (see photo one)
21" (525 mm)
20" (500 mm) – roller type (see photo two)
18” (450 mm)
15" (380 mm) – roller type
15" (380 mm) – with brass arms
15" (380 mm) – made in aluminum

The roller type parallel rulers are extremely steady and provide highly accurate readings. The 20" contains a built-in magnifier.

Rulers

Nautisk Forlag supplies transparent crystal clear acrylic rulers in four sizes: 30 cm, 40 cm, 50 cm and 100 cm.

Protractor triangle

This is a 45° triangle made in hard plastic with handle. Using its protractor scales, the triangle is easily aligned in any direction with a chart meridian. Also known as ‘Kent type with handle’.

Uni-plotter

This is the most compact course plotter available at a size of 130 x 255 mm (5.1" x 10").

Linex nautical plotter

Used for plotting course and bearing, these plotters give a direct reading against a variation scale. Includes precision divided degrees and guidelines. Sized 140 x 140 mm (5.5" x 5.5") with a 377 mm (14.8") arm.

Silva plotter

A strong and practical course plotter this product gives 360° coverage and a slide ruler graded up to ten nautical miles (1:50 000).

Air sea plotter

Made in crystal clear acrylic, this air to sea plotter is popular in flight navigation.
Chart protractor: This versatile navigation tool is used to set a course or a bearing, measure distance between two points, plot a position on a chart or establish its coordinates.

Navigation set

This set from Weems & Plath includes a protractor, parallel rulers for finding bearing and direction, dividers for measuring distance, a pencil for making notations on the chart and in the navigation log, and a pencil sharpener. Dimensions are 406 mm x 152 mm (16" x 6").
